PTAS - Professional and Technical Aid Service
What is PTAS?
PTAS is a service to voluntary and community organisations offering professional and technical support when it is needed. We put VCOs in touch with consultants from the Digbeth Trust list of consultants whose expertise, skills and experience match those required. We can also signpost to other types of support and we are developing a PTAS Skills Brokerage page.
Voluntary and Community Organisations
The Digbeth Trust has supported many voluntary and community organisations since it was established in 1985. The Trust maintains links with these organisations and now has over 1,800 VCOs on its database.
Consultant's Register
The Digbeth Trust consultant's register is constantly updated. Each of the consultants registered have some or all of the expertise detailed on the Consultants Expertise page. We are able to match a VCO's requirements with a consultant who has the right expertise. The Digbeth Trust ensures that all registered consultants conform to the Digbeth Trust Code of Good Practice. Registered consultants are entitled to use the PTAS quality mark.

Potential Consultants
Consultants wishing to join the PTAS register must complete a formal registration process and renew their membership each year.
