The Council has now established the External Funding Support to enable local community groups to make the best use of the many different sources of funding available. A significant factor in the provision of this service is the ability to tap into external funding sources to support local priorities and help communities to grow and prosper. External Funding Support makes information electronically available on many external funding sources, e.g. regional funders, grant updates, tips for your funding application and areas of good practice etc, which is accessible by all. We also produce a Newsletter on a monthly basis where alongside news about funding streams we advertise successful projects. You can find the Newsletter (current and previous editions) at the end of this page and download it or you can e-mail the External Funding Support Team to add you on the mailing list.
Grantnet is a user friendly database which has been specifically devised to allow people to identify funding sources available to community, voluntary and other organisations.
